1. Introduction and Acceptance #
Welcome to Vision Science Academy ("VSA", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, learning management system (LMS), mobile applications, and all associated services (collectively, the "Services").
By registering for an account, accessing course materials, or applying for Fellowship, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization.
Note on Medical Advice: VSA is an educational platform. Nothing contained in our content constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
2. Membership and Fellowship
2.1 Eligibility
Membership is open to optometrists, vision scientists, ophthalmologists, and students in related fields. You must provide accurate professional credentials during the registration process. VSA reserves the right to verify all credentials and revoke membership for falsification.
2.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Educational Content & Disclaimer
The content provided by Vision Science Academy, including webinars, articles, quizzes, and conference materials, is for educational and informational purposes only.
- No Patient-Provider Relationship: Use of the Services does not establish a doctor-patient relationship.
- Evolving Science: Vision science is a rapidly evolving field. While we strive for accuracy, VSA does not warrant that all information is completely current or error-free.
- Clinical Judgment: Professionals must rely on their own clinical judgment and local regulations when applying knowledge gained from VSA.
4. User Conduct

5. Intellectual Property Rights
All content, including the VSA logo, course materials, videos, and code, is the property of Vision Science Academy or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.
Limited License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the content for personal, non-commercial educational use. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.
6. Payments, Subscriptions, and Refunds
Subscription Terms
Memberships are billed on an annual or monthly basis. Renewal is automatic unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the billing cycle ends.
Refund Policy
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new premium memberships, provided no certificate has been issued and less than 20% of course content has been consumed.
7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VISION SCIENCE ACADEMY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts in Maharashtra.
